Γόμφοι Οι Γόμφοι βρίσκονται σε υψόμετρο 135μ., απέχουν 15 χλμ. από τα Τρίκαλα και έχουν 818 κατοίκους. Το χωριό έχει πάρει το όνομά του από τον μεγάλης αρχαιολογικής σημασίας χώρο των αρχαίων Γόμφων, ενώ «Ραψίστα» ήτανε η παλιά του ονομασία.
